In early December, with a spirit of optimism, Eizper Chain came to the 2022 IeSF World Esports Championships and opened the booth there. The arrival of the Eizper Chain team carried the mission as the only representative of the web 3.0 gaming to sponsor the prestigious esports competition. This event is special for Eizper Chain as we are Indonesia’s web 3.0 gaming that became the sponsor of the annual gaming competition for web 2.0 games.
Web 3.0 gaming is like the “new kids on the block” in the world game industry which is growing along with the emergence of blockchain technology. To make it simple, web 3.0 games are games that is played using internet technology and built by integrating blockchain technology into the gaming ecosystem. In web 3.0 gaming, every activities inside the game ecosystem is decentralized from any central authority.
In the 2022 IeSF World Esports Championship, Eizper Chain wanted to show how fun web 3.0 gaming can be, has the potential to become esports games, and that web 3.0 gaming can also have good graphic quality. From December 2nd to 11th, 2022, Eizper Chain opened its unique and interesting booth in the 2022 IeSF World Esports Championship. The booth was specially created to suit its steampunk art theme. All kinds of steampunk-themed trinkets filled every corner of the booth. This unique and fascinating booth made the visitors curious and visited it. Students, tourists, and esports enthusiasts came to visit Eizper Chain’s booth.
With burning enthusiasm, Eizper Chain’s team was kindly introduced and explained Eizper Chain’s game to quench the visitor’s curiosity. In this booth, the visitors can also try Eizper Chain’s game, play mini-games, get cool merchandise, and take a picture with Ryella who is one of Eizper Chain’s characters.
Not only meeting the esports enthusiasts, we were also honored to get to meet important figures such as Prof. Dr. Zainudin Amali, S.E., M.Si. (Indonesia’s Minister of Youth and Sports), Mr. Ibnu Riza (Chairman of IESPA), Raine Renaldi S.IIP (Chief of Economy & Digital asset Committee at KADIN), and introduced them to Eizper Chain as the representative of Indonesia’s web 3.0 gaming in the 2022 IESF World Esports Championship. We also presented them with a wooden box which is the symbolization of our willingness to bring Indonesia forward in web 3.0 gaming industry.
Keeping up with the development of local web 3.0 gaming is really compelling. Especially since many local and international game developers are shifting their focus toward web 3.0 gaming. Regardless of the pros and cons, blockchain technology is still under development and continuously improving itself to its maximum potential.
